Aaron is an electro-mechanical artist and photographer based in Brisbane. After completing a Trade Certificate in Marine Electronics he travelled to Melbourne to study dance at the Victorian College of the Arts. Aaron spent ten years immersed in a contemporary dance, theatre and electronics cross-over. During this time he helped create diverse projects such as theatre sets, wireless suits for performers, and robots made from recycled materials that can talk to school children. He has always had an interest in photography, it being his best subject at school.
5 Years ago Aaron decided to make photography his prime focus. Since then he has provided images for most of the Arts organisations and Universities in Brisbane. He has worked in the corporate, arts and governement sectors. His Background in dance and theatre provides him the tools to relate and put all types of people at ease. It gives him a strong appreciation of posing subjects and line. This year Aaron has included photographic workshops in his proffesional offerings, and is most recently working with human.org to provide photography for the Shockwave Youth Festival in central Queensland.
